PICE Program

The PICE program is available to all who are 60 years old or older, homebound (unable to leave their home without taxing effort), and residing in Columbia or Richmond County. Emergency consultation is available for Burke and McDuffie County residents.

The Family Counseling Center's PICE Program provides short term counseling in a variety of settings: at home, with family, in a personal care home, or in a nursing home. Counseling issues include the loss of a loved one, adjustment to illness or disability, depression, or other life changes.

The PICE Program is provided under Title III of the Older Americans Act and is funded by the CSRA RDC/Area Agency on Aging and the GA Department of Human Resources with the United Way providing support and sponsorship for this program.
